Advance Technician

Requirements

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of signal level meters, volt-ohm meters (VOM), leakage detection equipment, time domain reflectometer (TDR), optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) and other related test equipment
• Knowledgeable of rules and regulations of various regulatory bodies impacting the operation of a telecommunications system including, but not limited to, FCC, NEC, NESC, OSHA, and DOT, as well as all local ordinances
• Valid driver's license of the state in which the individual is employed
