Responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels and supervision of the Shipping & Receiving department to meet production specifications and requirements.
Requirements
- Practices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
- Coordinates with Warehouse Manager to direct work of department personnel when required.
- Report shortages, overages, and all inventory levels for replenishment.
- Classifies, labels, and warehouses all inventories for future use.
- Keeps accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
- Communicates with managers and purchasing on inventory levels and locations.
- Maintains a record of all transfers and purchase orders.
- Implements and follows a control system to reduce damage, breakage, and inventory obsolescence.
- Creates and documents shipments and transfers providing tracking information and Bill of Ladings between warehouse and other Branches ensuring all orders are shipped in Syteline.
- Monitors various reports pertaining to shipping and receiving including Open Purchase Order Reports.
- Assigns locations for inventory and performs quantity moves when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicates with Materials Manager.
- Conducts cycle counts.
- Ensures department always maintains good housekeeping habits.
- Ensures all department personnel are following procedures.
- Assures that the Shipping and Receiving department follows the Cactus Wellhead Receiving Process i.e., check product against transfer order, part number/review description, and quantity, serial number, and heat number.
- Verifies weight, thread type, grade size on casing/pup joints.
- Provides traceability engineering reports for elastomers while adhering to proper storage procedures.
- Reviews and provides feedback to management on the preservation of product requirements for inventory stocked.
