Job Description
FlexSteel is an innovative, flexible pipe technology company. The company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate I to join its team in Baytown, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience in a forward-thinking manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to work effectively with company personnel and customers
- Must be insurable by the company's insurance carrier
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have regular attendance on the job
- Must be able to operate and certify for an industrial forklift truck or electric hoist up to 55k
