The Deputy Director, Economic Policy will review economic policies, assess areas for strategic policy reviews, and shape studies to deepen understanding of initiatives and strategies. The role will also work with stakeholders to develop policy alignment and evaluate special budget requests.
Requirements
- University degree in Political Science, Economics, Law or any other related fields
- Strong interest in and understanding of Singapore's socio-economic policy landscape
- Experienced policy advocate in developing, implementing and tracking the success of economic programmes and advocacy work
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation skills and able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders to shape outcomes
- Strong planning, analytical and written skills, with an ability to analyse and explain issues to a wide variety of audiences
- High level of leadership to develop a team to achieve outcomes
