Quality Inspector I - 1st Shift

Cadrex is searching for a Quality Inspector I to support site manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles and methodologies with the goal of consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations of quality.

Requirements

• Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plate, and height gage
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Visual inspection of product according to customer requirements
• Inspect and or test in-process product as well as finished product
• Document inspection results by completing required reports/logs
• Identify and quarantine all non-conforming product
• Generate and summarize non-conforming reports for discrepant products
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and identify and address issues with equipment that may need repair
• Inspect and approve incoming materials where and when needed by confirming they meet specifications
• Attend department meetings as required
