Quality Inspector I - 1st Shift

Cadrex is searching for a Quality Inspector I to support site manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles and methodologies.

Requirements

• Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plate, and height gage
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Visual inspection of product according to customer requirements
• Inspect and or test in-process product as well as finished product
• Document inspection results by completing required reports/logs
• Identify and quarantine all non-conforming product
• Generate and summarize non-conforming reports for discrepant products
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and identify and address issues with equipment that may need repair
• Inspect and approve incoming materials where and when needed by confirming they meet specifications
• Attend department meetings as required
