Job Description
The Receiving Barn Laborer is responsible for cleaning, organizing, and making minor repairs to the Receiving Barn. They must have experience working around racehorses and obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- One to three months of experience in racetrack industry
- Excellent verbal, mathematics, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and make quick accurate decisions independently
- Extensive equine knowledge, types of racing and all racing industry requirements
- Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License
