Job Description
Caesars Sportsbook is seeking a skilled Scala Engineer to join their team and develop backend systems for their retention platforms. This role involves building and maintaining systems for rewards and customer engagement, working with a cross-functional team to enhance user experience and ensure system reliability. The position offers hybrid work in Jersey City and is fully paid.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- 2+ years of professional experience with Scala
- Strong knowledge of functional programming principles
- Experience with real-time systems
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in databases (relational and non-relational)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Availability for 24/7 support for major incidents
