Job Description
Cafe Express is seeking a Guest Service Associate (Cashier) to provide quality products and service in a clean and safe environment. The role requires knowledge of food safety and security, employee policies, and customer service. Team members rotate through various positions to meet varying demand and maintain food safety standards.
Requirements
- Perform essential duties satisfactorily.
- Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Know all menu items both visually and verbally, including cost and features of items.
- Effectively communicate with customers, team members and management.
- Greet the customer, take their order and key it into the register.
- Complete the transaction with the customer accurately.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Bank on and off the register within the specified time frames.
