Job Description
CAI Software is looking for a Principal QA Engineer to build and scale the quality engineering function across their SMB product suite. The role involves defining quality strategy, establishing automation frameworks, and embedding quality into the engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of QA/quality engineering experience, strong automation background, and hands-on expertise in C#/.NET ecosystem, API testing, and SQL.
Requirements
- Define and drive quality strategy, standards, and KPIs
- Build and scale the QA function from the ground up
- Design and implement automation across desktop, web, API, and database layers
- Evaluate and standardize tools
- Establish CI/CD-integrated test automation and quality gates
- Define regression strategy and release certification processes
- Partner with engineering to drive shift-left quality and testability
- Validate end-to-end workflows (UI → API → Database) for complex manufacturing use cases
