The Senior Legal Counsel, Private Placement / Transactional will provide primary support to the Private Investment Placement International team, working on acquisition, disposition, and management of investments. The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating documentation, providing legal advice, and collaborating with external advisors and investment teams.

Requirements

• Diploma in law and admission to the Quebec Bar
• Six to eight years of experience in private practice or in a company
• Experience in business law, primarily in private placements and mergers and acquisitions
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills
• Negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex notions and concepts
• Strong collaboration skills in an institutional context
• Autonomy
