Rigger

The Rigger must have knowledge of complex rigging, heavy rigging, electrical safety, ladder and scaffold safety, and other related topics. Must be able to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.

Requirements

• Load, transport, unload, and assists in selecting cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved
• Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials
• Perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment
• Assist other craft workers as needed
