Job Description
The Structural Welder will create frames for large structures, setting up equipment and welding pipe, plate, or structural steel, and obtaining certification as necessary. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and safely use work-related tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Cut and drill structural metal pieces to size and place into position for welding
- Ensure welds are well executed and meet safety and industry standards
- Perform simple piping installations and repairs
- Assist other mechanics/craft workers as needed
