Job Description
The California Independent System Operator (ISO) is seeking a Lead Power Systems Technology Engineer to lead complex engineering projects and assignments, provide expertise on studies, integrate, enhance, and support advanced power systems applications used for operating the grid.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Systems or Computer Science
- 6+ years related experience
- Professional Engineering certification desirable
- Experience with Power Systems, Real-time systems, Power Systems Operations, Market operation, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Web services, Advanced network applications, Oracle, CIMXML, SQL
- Demonstrates fundamental management and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Excellent analytical skills
