Job Description
The California Independent System Operator (ISO) is seeking a Sr Database Engineer to maintain the integrity of enterprise-wide Oracle, SQL Server and Postgres databases. The successful candidate will have expertise in Oracle technologies, including Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery, and proficiency in UNIX Shell and PL/SQL scripting.
Requirements
- Design, build, configure, and maintain Oracle 19c databases
- Implement, configure, and manage Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery
- Conduct advanced performance analysis and tuning of Oracle databases
- Develop, maintain, and execute PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and packages
- Implement and enforce database security best practices
