Fabrication Manager

California Waters is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead the fabrication team in achieving high quality products on time and under budget. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the fabrication team, create and manage workflow processes, and coordinate with multiple departments and teams.

Requirements

• Meet with Project Managers on new projects to determine the type of products and services required
• Organize and manage the weekly production schedule
• Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure inventory is stocked for production
• Meet with the Engineering staff on existing product lines to review quality, production rates, and production costs
• Provide training and education to staff on new equipment, new systems and protocols to improve production rates
• Track labor and material resources to each product and project
• Create and manage product inspection systems as part of the quality performance ensurance program
• Enforce safety rules through ongoing communication and Toolbox meetings
