Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to assist Senior Project Managers in planning, managing, and executing day-to-day activities and operations of active and pending jobs throughout California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in engineering or construction and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools.

Requirements

• Strong experience with RFIs, Change Orders, Submittals, Daily Job Logs, and similar paperwork.
• Hands-on experience with the daily management of subcontractors.
• Ability to manage close outs.
• Supervise procurement needs and interface with purchasing department for same.
• Obtain permits, licenses, inspections, and similar needs.
• Interact and assist Superintendent and Foremen with their daily schedules and requirements.
• Flexible and self-starter, able to multi-task while also being highly detail oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech in order to communicate with General Contractors, Developers, Public and Municipal Employees, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and internal colleagues.
