Operations and Electrical Technician III

Calpine, America's largest generator of electricity from natural gas and geothermal resources, is seeking an Operations and Electrical Technician III to support the operations and maintenance activities at its Renewable Energy Sites, which use multiple technologies including solar and battery systems. The ideal candidate will have senior-level technical expertise in instrument/electrical and control system applications, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, degree from technical/vocational school, military service or equivalent
• Senior-level; minimum of 5 years’ experience in instrument/electrical and control system applications
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics
• Experience with DCS programming and configuration
• Advanced certifications/licensures. Valid state driver’s license
