Mechanical Engineer Intern

CalPortland is seeking a summer intern for the Oro Grande cement plant. The intern will gain insights into the cement and building materials industry, working with the plants mechanical/maintenance department. The internship provides a hands-on learning experience and is ideal for students interested in mechanical engineering.

Requirements

• Complete Safety and MSHA training and site/job specific training
• Carry-out and practice all safety training
• Assist in PM instruction development
• Learn about cement plant operations
• Assist in routine housekeeping and maintenance of facilities
