The Terminal Operator participates in the loading and unloading of cement at the terminal, operating terminal equipment and following safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical requirements: able to work in confined spaces, climb up to elevations of 10 to 100 ft., and lifting of up to 75 Ibs.
- Mechanical knowledge: experience with oil changes, equipment inspections, belt alignments, and preventive maintenance inspections
- Experience using pneumatic, electric and regular hand tools (ex., chipping guns, jackhammers, grinders, drills, wrenches, ect.)
- Clearly and accurately communicate both verbally and in writing
- Computer skills including Excel, Word, SAP, and HMI systems
- Ability to see and hear safety indicators and warnings
- Must work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry, and/or dusty conditions
- Must be self-directed and able to work with little or no supervision, as well as part of a team
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Able to work varying and flexible workdays and hour
