Job Description
The successful candidate will be working with other Valve Techs and craftsman in an on-site central repair shop, disassembling valves for repair, cleaning and inspecting parts, developing work scopes, and reassembling valves to client specifications.
Requirements
- Must be capable of following all shop procedures and safety rules without exception
- Must be capable of consistently and accurately identify valve types
- Must be able to calibrate test gauges
- Capable of consistently and accurately reading precision measuring tools, and operate valve shop equipment: drill presses, band saws, test stands
- Capable of reading & understanding drawings and repair manuals
- Capable of troubleshooting and providing failure analysis on valve repairs
- Capable of performing valve repairs, document and calibrations of Conventional PSV, Pilot PSV, PRD or Control Valves and Hydro Test
- Capable of drawing detailed sketches of various valve parts when needed
