Requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on processing equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, and other machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including loaders, trucks, and rail equipment.
- Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that items used are properly checked out. Critical parts are readily available.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately and completely in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
