Material Handler - 1st Shift

This position is responsible for unloading and verifying inbound freight, while maintaining safety standards. The role uses a forklift to move raw materials for the majority of each shift.

Requirements

• Move raw materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using a forklift
• Organize and maintain overall appearance of the loading dock including raw materials, packages and pallets to ensure timely, accurate and careful delivery
• Drive a forklift for a significant portion of shift
• Follow proper maintenance procedures for the forklift
• Maintain and report inventory needs
• Maintain documentation of inventory, shipping records, receiving inventory and receiving shipping records
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Raw Materials Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Additional duties as assigned by management
