PhD in physics or related discipline, excellent communication skills, and ability to gain UK security clearance

6 months contract experience in FPGA engineering, with expertise in Verilog / VHDL targeting FPGA and Xilinx ISE toolchain

Recent graduates with industrial experience, final year students, or graduates with relevant academic course or research experience. Experience in software implementation, PCB design, digital electronics, analogue electronics, or a similar area

Research experience in optics or photonics, excellent communication skills, and practical experience in free-space optics or photonic devices
