Job Description
The Senior Program Counselor will maintain a safe living and learning community, uphold the Student and Family Handbook, and build a community among students. This live-in position will work up to 40 hours per week with housing provided.
Requirements
- Build and maintain a strong, safe, and inclusive residential life community
- Responsible for the co-supervision of Program Counselors and students
- Assist in the residential check-in and check-out process
- Participate in Student Orientation events
- Support the physical and mental health of students
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Enforce program policies and procedures
- Mediate roommate and peer conflicts
- Manage student and staff interactions
- Complete room checks for a minimum of 5 nights a week
- Abide by Curfew and Proximity policy
- Assist in the logistics and coordination of co-curricular activities
- Support the program through other duties as assigned
