Job Description
Makes a daily difference in the Campbell County organization and locality through hard work, open and honest communication, ongoing improvement and accountability. Performs various tasks as a Paramedic/Firefighter, including emergency and non-emergency situations, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Two years of college or graduation from a business college plus additional college level coursework in related programs
- One year of full time, active emergency medical services experience
- Valid Virginia Drivers' License
- Current Virginia Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate or Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic certification
- Current certification in ACLS, PALS, EVOC, and CPR
- Certification as Firefighter 1
- Current National Incident Management System IS-700 and IS-100 certification
- Requires completion of National Incident Management System IS-200 within 120 days of employment
