Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join our Data team to lead the design and implementation of a new data architecture powering critical customer-facing AI features.
Requirements
- Experience architecting and implementing data systems for use with AI at scale
- Experience balancing short-term experimentation with long-term platform maintainability
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and set technical direction beyond a single team
- Passion for mentoring others and rolling out data engineering best practices
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into durable data and AI platform capabilities
- Experience with AI tooling to significantly accelerate engineering work
- Deep experience with cloud data platforms, including relational and analytical storage, and sound judgment about when to use warehouse, lakehouse, streaming, or serving-layer patterns
