Job Description
This internship position offers a part-time teller role with a flexible schedule, opportunity to promote products and services, and possibility of renewal each semester. The role involves assisting members with financial transactions, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree-seeking university or college, has cash handling and customer service experience, and is team-oriented and detail-focused.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a degree-seeking university or college
- Six to twelve months of cash handling and/or customer service experience
- Team-oriented, member-focused, and enjoys helping others while performing routine tasks
- Careful attention to details of work, including accuracy, balancing, and quality
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers/scanners, cash counting machines, and coin counters
- Basic understanding of math and cash counting/handling skills
- Ability to interpret and administer credit union policies and procedures
- Maintains confidentiality related to credit union operations and member information
