Join Canacre in an Environmental Compliance Manager role working on leading edge infrastructure projects. Monitor and report on construction-related activities for compliance with permits, landowner agreements, and environmental documents. Assist in inspections, conduct daily inspections, and monitor environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Environment (biology, forestry, environmental sciences, etc.) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' professional experience in Environmental Management, compliance and mitigation planning
- Minimum 1 year's professional experience in electric transmission or distribution construction industry
- Environmental experience working on BLM lands in the southwestern United States
- Professional experience working on projects regulated under NEPA or state-equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, prioritizing and decision-making skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interface successfully with multiple departments, external vendors, and/or customers
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver's License, with ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier
