Analyst, Data & Analytics

Canada Life is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join the Insurance Solutions team, supporting data management, analysis, and reporting needs. The role will benefit from collaboration with subject matter experts and data scientists.

Requirements

• Build, implement, and maintain data models, custom reports, and dashboards
• Create visually compelling presentations and communicate them to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to ingest data, prioritize data needs, and build data marts
• Communicate requirements to the Technology team for development and ensure smooth deployment of data projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
• Support existing data owners in their data management practices
• Work with large datasets that may be inconsistent, unclean, or not fully modeled
• Ensure best practices are followed with respect to data governance and structure
