Permanent Full Time Manager Technology Risk position at Canada Life, working with the technology risk management framework and providing oversight of the technology control environment. Strong understanding of technology risk regulatory requirements and industry best practices is required. Experience in cloud computing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is an asset.
Requirements
- 2 – 5 years of experience in Technology Risk
- Deep understanding of how large financial organizations operate within a regulated environment
- Successful completion of CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC or equivalent certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology or equivalent experience
- Strong Understanding of federal and provincial technology risk regulatory requirements (OSFI, FSRA, AMF, BCFSA), and industry best practices (COBIT, NIST, ISO standards, etc.)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in key technologies such as Cloud, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
- Exposure to various data analytic tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Proven ability to identify, analyze and translate risk in the context of what it means to achieving business objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables
- Demonstrated capability to build and foster strong relationships through collaboration, influencing change, and building consensus
