Canada Life and Great West Life are seeking a Vice-President, Technology Risk to provide enterprise level oversight, leadership, and independent challenge for technology risk and operational resilience. This role is critical to ensuring that technology risk and resilience frameworks are well designed, consistently applied, and effectively embedded across the Lifeco group of companies.
Requirements
- Own the enterprise technology risk and resilience framework, spanning technology and cyber, governance, and emerging technology risks.
- Provide effective second line oversight and challenge of first line technology risk management, focusing on design and effectiveness of controls, risk assessments, and remediation.
- Assess, monitor, and report the consolidated technology risk profile against risk appetite, delivering clear, decision-ready insights to executive management, risk committees, and boards.
- Lead and develop a high performing technology risk team, fostering strong judgment, learning agility, and credibility with senior stakeholders.
