Immigration Staff Attorney, Affirmative Unit

Canal Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the generational cycle of poverty for Latino immigrants. They seek an Affirmative Unit Staff Attorney to advocate for immigrant clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). This role requires working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while delivering high-quality service.

Requirements

• J.D. and membership in good standing in a state bar.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written fluency required).
• Prior experience in immigration law.
• Experience working with LawLogix or other legal case management software preferred.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
