Safety Coordinator

Assists in overseeing the site safety program, establishing program goals, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal agencies. Performs safety and environmental audits, inspections, and investigations, and creates and administers related training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety (or related field)
• 1-3 years of related experience
• Thorough knowledge of safety principles and related government regulations
• Experience in a safety-related job in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
• Ability to teach others
