Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Staff Level)

Candid Health is looking for a Staff Engineer to lead the development of its revenue cycle automation platform. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in building software of significant scale and complexity, and will be responsible for leading architecture and technical execution, innovating, scaling and optimizing core systems, and mentoring and developing engineering talent.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or other similar degree.
• 10+ years of experience building software of significant scale and complexity
• Expertise in software development, systems design/architecture, and coding
• Deep understanding of postgres databases and how to scale them: sharding/partitioning, query optimization, schema migration safety & reliability, etc.
• Excellent technical vision; knowledge of the right architecture and patterns to build something of enduring value and scale
• Leadership qualifications: a track record of success and ability to provide specific examples of driving major business outcomes end to end
• Behavioral qualifications: ability to manage ambiguity and deliver results when presented with highly ambiguous business challenges
