Job Description
CannonDesign is seeking a Plumbing & Fire Protection II to join a multidisciplinary team working on projects ranging from residential and commercial to healthcare and science facilities. The role involves designing and maintaining plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems, preparing calculations, and interfacing with clients. Candidates should be proficient in both design and construction, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Perform designs of piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Prepare calculations using correct parameters.
- Prepare production drawings.
- Review shop drawings.
- Interface effectively with clients and project team.
- Conduct field site visits.
- Assist with staff development activities.
- Conduct research as needed.
