Job Description
Canoo is hiring a Lead Vehicle Systems Technician to lead the diagnosis and repair of vehicles that fail End-of-Line testing during General Assembly and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient diagnosis of problem vehicles.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience with automotive electronic systems
- Extensive hands-on experience with vehicle wire harnesses
- Strong working knowledge of Automotive CAN networks
- Working knowledge of automotive data collection & analysis tools
- Experience in a vehicle manufacturing setting
- Experience with mechanical automotive repair
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and in writing
- Working knowledge of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS)
- Working knowledge of LIN and Automotive ethernet communication protocols
- Experience with issue management software
- Experience with requirement database tools
- Understanding of binary and other related number systems
- Basic understanding of automotive software architecture and implementation
