Senior Design Release Engineer

The Senior Design Release Engineer is responsible for leading the development and sourcing of the in-house control units and ensuring the products satisfy all requirements. The role involves capturing system requirements from stakeholders, guiding documentation, and working with engineering disciplines to ensure final product meets technical and commercial requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with automotive electronics development standards
• Experience with automotive controllers used in safety critical systems
• Technical understanding and familiarity with automotive industry standards that covers environmental, mechanical, electrical aspects of validation
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet communications and the tools used to interface with them
• Hands-On experience working with electronic/electric systems and all traditional lab equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, Power Supplies)
• Excellent aptitude in circuit theory and general electronics design practice (communication networks, SMPS, Analog and Digital design)
• Experienced in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
