Senior Electronics Engineer responsible for leading the development and sourcing of in-house control units, ensuring products satisfy all requirements. The successful candidate will be multi-talented and hands-on supporting all functions of engineering.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another related STEM field.
- MSEE or advanced degree in STEM is preferred.
- Must be highly analytical with excellent documentation and traceability skills
- Experience with mixed-signal embedded controller design
- Experience with high-speed design and signal integrity
- Technical understanding and familiarity with automotive industry standards that covers environmental, mechanical, electrical aspects of validation
- Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet communications and the tools used to interface with them
- Familiarity with board design and manufacturing processes. Consider design for manufacturing during all stages of the development process
- Hands-On experience working with electronic/electric systems and all traditional lab equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, VNA, Logic Analyzers, Power Supplies)
- Excellent aptitude in circuit theory and general electronics design practice (communication networks, SMPS, Analog and Digital design)
- Experience in designing for EMC best practice and validation test.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- 5+ years designing automotive electronics
