Job Description
The Therapy Authorization Specialist & Scheduler is responsible for performing patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification duties. The role requires strong customer service skills, excellent multi-taking skills, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of medical office experience (preferred)
- Proficient knowledge in medical terminology
- Above average spelling and typing skills
- Proficient computer software (Online insurance websites and DASH) and database skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
