Backend Developer - Python

Backend developer position at Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm, working on projects that transform the financial services industry.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with strong communication, client-facing ability, attention to detail, and proven success as both an individual contributor and team player
• Advanced Python expertise, including OOP, multithreading, functional programming, reusable package development, ETL automation, orchestration, debugging data pipelines, and working with multiple data formats (CSV/JSON/XML) across cloud storage
• Strong SQL and data warehousing skills, with deep experience in complex queries, performance optimization, and working with platforms like Snowflake
• Cloud and DevOps capability, including AWS S3/ECS/IAM, secure coding practices, GitHub version control, CI/CD setup, and code generation using Python + Jinja templates
