Job Description
The job description is for a Data Analyst position in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in activities related to the attributes
- Proficiency in advanced statistical methods (analysis of variance, multiple regression, time series)
- Domination in statistical software and languages (R, SAS, Python with statistical packages)
- Experience in SQL for data manipulation and generation of complex queries
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured databases
- Knowledge in predictive modeling and statistical machine learning (e.g. Bayesian networks, logistic regression, discriminant analysis)
- Experience with data visualization tools focused on statistical reporting (such as R Shiny or Power BI)
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related areas with a strong foundation in quantitative methods
- Postgraduate or specialization in Statistical Analysis, Data Science, or Data Analytics with emphasis on statistics
