Data Engineer

Join Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm, as a Senior Data Engineer to work on engaging projects with top international and local banks, insurance companies, and payment service providers. You will lead the requirement gathering and brainstorming discussions with product owners, enterprise, and business architects, and be responsible for translating business needs into effective stories and requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of working experience in corporate IT
• At least 4 years of experience in a functional BA role in a large Data warehouse or Data engineering application
• Banking/Finance Domain Knowledge preferable
• Technical stack – Excel, SQL, GCP-Big Query, Preferred - Scripting knowledge – Python, Unix script
• Documentation Tools – Confluence, Jira, Visio/Draw
• Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skill
• Data governance, Data quality controls design & Data modelling experience preferred
• Agile ways of working – Able to create User Stories in JIRA, Facilitate Discussions with Business and Technical team
• Other good to have skills – Cloud technology awareness- GCP/AWS, IT deployment & operation awareness
