Ultrasound Technologist-Full Time Days

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures for the diagnosis of specific diseases or conditions. The incumbent must be competent in the technical operations of all equipment and ensure timely and accurate recording of exam begin and end time. The technologist must also provide a safe environment and participate in quality improvement projects.

• Competent in the technical operations of all equipment in this section
• Assess patients, review orders/chart as appropriate confirming reason for exam
• Prepare patients for procedure, answer any questions and effectively communicate with the supervising radiologist for special instructions and/or questions regarding exam protocol
