Capital Economics is seeking a macroeconomist to work within their highly-regarded China team, reporting to the Head of China Economics. The role involves formulating views on China's economy and monetary/fiscal policy, producing written analysis, and presenting views to clients. A strong academic background in economics or a related discipline is required, along with the ability to read policy statements and financial news in Chinese. At least two years' experience analysing macroeconomic issues is preferred.
