Capital Farm Credit is seeking a Credit Relationship Specialist II - CommAg to manage a portfolio of complex, high-risk, and criticized commercial agricultural loans. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in agricultural or commercial lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, or relationship management, and a strong understanding of agribusiness operations and financial structures. The role requires excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. The Credit Relationship Specialist II - CommAg will work closely with lending teams to evaluate borrower viability and lead efforts to return accounts to performing status. The role also involves developing and executing complex restructuring strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in agricultural or commercial lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, or relationship management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of agribusiness operations and financial structures
- Professional certifications in credit, lending, or agricultural finance (e.g., CRC, CBA, or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan origination systems
