Capital Power is seeking a highly skilled Originator to manage customer relationships and structure transactions across the Eastern Interconnect, particularly the PJM wholesale electricity market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy markets, with a focus on transaction origination and structuring.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the Eastern power markets.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
