Part Time Spanish Teacher

Capitol Language Services is seeking an experienced Spanish language teacher to teach at an elementary/middle school in Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Spanish language courses to students at the elementary and middle school levels, maintaining accurate records of student progress, and communicating with parents and the office. The selected teacher will be required to plan challenging and engaging lessons and experiences designed to help students achieve content and curriculum standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Second Language Acquisition or Spanish Language
• Two years of experience teaching Spanish language courses at the elementary and middle school levels
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Solid subject matter knowledge and demonstrated knowledge of the content and the methods of teaching Spanish
