TCEQ seeks passionate Engineers to make a real impact on public health in a dynamic environmental state agency. The position involves conducting engineering reviews, providing technical assistance, and customer service related to the agency's drinking water program. The selected candidate will contribute to ensuring clean and available water and protecting Texas' water resources.
Requirements
- Awarded master's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related fields from an accredited college or university.
- Texas Professional Engineer's license plus two, three, or four years of full-time engineering experience beyond licensure for Engineer III, IV, and V respectively.
- Licensed Surface Water Treatment Plant Operator.
- Experience with analyzing engineering design, maintenance, administration, and operations of public drinking water systems.
- Experience performing public drinking water systems analyses, such as evaluation of water quality, water chemistry, or water microbial assessment.
- Experience preparing reports, correspondence, and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
