Data Platform Engineer

Capstone Investment Advisors is a global asset manager seeking a Data Platform Engineer to build and maintain core database technologies and automation frameworks. Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience, ideally within the financial sector
• Engineering experience in enterprise database technologies, with strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Development experience across multiple languages (SQL, PowerShell, Python) for solving complex problems and building automation
• Automation-first mindset, including experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting for repeatable deployments
• Database performance tuning and optimization
• Database design and modelling fundamentals
• Version control and CI/CD experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation
